Dear EBM Singer and Friend,

Wow, what a concert at the beginning of December and with two full houses, choir of 80, String Orchestra and snow!

But now 2022 is here. Our plans are almost complete, and we have an outline of what we expect to do.

Cherubini Requiem

We will rehearse Cherubini’s Requiem on dates below, we have our own copies and 20 more from the County Music Library.

Finedon Parish Church – Friday 1^st April

Ecton Parish Church – Saturday 2^nd April

These performances will be accompanied by church organ.

Rehearsals throughout the winter months will focus on the Requiem – but not exclusively.

Registration Tuesday, 18^th January. (7pm – 8pm). £40 or £30 for retired persons. To register online please use the link below:

The Queen’s Jubilee Concert

The Recreation Field – Earls Barton – Saturday 4^th June

Songs from the Shows, ‘Pop’ arrangements, Jazz and Folk.

Registration and Rehearsal 1 will be 7:30pm – 9:30pm Tuesday March 1st. This will be at a reduced rate of £25 for all singers and will cover the rest of the Spring term and all Summer term rehearsals.

After the Jubilee Concert

TBA…but gardens and informal settings – suggestions welcome. Smaller groups or large – it matters not!

Autumn Term Information

Dear Singer or Potential Singer,

This autumn, we are looking forward to being back at All Saints Church for two Advent concerts which will be a mix of classical and popular pieces.

People of all ages are welcome in our community choir – there are no auditions for the main choir but for those of you who would like to sing solo or within a smaller ensemble an audition will be needed.

If you’re wondering whether or not to join – just join! (In normal circumstances the choir numbers between 85 – 100 singers.)

If you would like to sing with us this term, please sign up online from 23^rd August by following this link. This really helps with our planning and helps to make our face-to-face registration evening run smoothly. (If you can’t sign up online that’s ok!)

We are holding the price of registration at £40 per term (under retirement age) or £30 per term (retirement age and above). This includes all rehearsals, refreshments, purchase of copies, library fees, room hire and more – so top value!

Registration is now open for our Spring/Summer season 2019.

This promises to be a great term as the music has be chosen by our members to celebrate EBM’s 25th year!
